What’s Your Favorite Movie?

I don’t have just one! But “Apollo 13” is in the top ten.

And if you haven’t seen “The Finest Hours”, you need to watch it as soon as possible! Great adventure and unbelievable true story.

I guess from these, you’ve figured out I love true adventure stories. Better if the good guys win, but there are great movies where they triumph in sacrifice – and give the rest of us courage to keep trying.

  1. My favorite movie is Wildflower by Faith Street Films. It has a kind of “The Sixth Sense” feel to it but is a Christian film.

    • Thanks for sharing. I haven’t heard of that movie, but it sounds good. I liked the premise and speculative nature of “The Sixth Sense”.

  2. Any musical but especially The Sound of Music!

    • Thanks so much for chiming in! I love musicals as well. It would be difficult for me to pick, but The Sound of Music is in top several. Also love Oklahoma, Cinderella, My Fair Lady, Phantom of the Opera, …. I could go on and on!

  3. Okay, probably not everyone’s cup of tea, but Jaws. Like a new movie every time I watch even though I know most of the dialogue.

  4. Peggy McCleskey

The Sound of Music is my all time favorite. I love the beautiful scenery, the music, and the romance.

    • Another one I love. I envision myself running through the hills of Austria when I’m singing that music!

  5. Apollo 13 is one of my favorites too! But my all-time faves are Chariots of Fire & Miracle on Ice. Do the right thing no matter the cost. True stories are SO inspirational!

    • I love those movies, too! I watched Chariots of Fire again a while back. Movies like that draw me in and I’m right there with them. Of course, I can’t run as fast as Eric Liddell. Won’t it be wonderful to meet him in heaven? And everyone else, too? Looking forward to it.
