This picture is how God said “Good morning” to me (and the rest of the earth) one day.

He spoke the worlds, and that sunrise, into existence.

So I’m counting on Him to give me the words He wants me to write.

MYSTERIES

I live for mystery.

Okay, what I really want is a problem-free life. But I’ve always analyzed things to death to figure them out. And I automatically assume there must be a conspiracy or ulterior motive behind every event.

Seriously, I see a news story about a missing dog or a bank heist, and before the 30-second news clip has finished airing, I come up with ten different theories of who, what, why, when, and how.

I think my brainstorming sometimes drives my friends crazy. But love covers faults, right? Sure hope it does.

The best mystery story is one I can’t figure out before the end. When the detective reveals the culprit and motive, and I realize the clues were there all along …

WOW! Now that’s the definition of F-U-N.

I’m endeavoring to write that kind of story.

I’ll keep you posted about my progress.

MY STORIES

I don’t want my life lessons to be a mystery. I hope to show how God loves and cares no matter what happens.

I may throw in some fiction every once in a while, too. Gotta have variety.
