A Smile of Hope

The world is a sad, terrible place sometimes.

And everyone has troubles.

Those troubles may be so huge, they can’t be overcome.

So when you see someone, give them a genuine smile.

You may be the only person who smiles at them that day.

And it may mean the difference between hope and hopelessness.

What other ways can we help people in distress?

  1. You are so right about smiling at others. There have been times when I have driven through the Chick Fil a drive thru for something small, just because I needed someone to smile and speak nicely to me on that day. And I knew that I would get nice treatment because they are trained to do that. Your blog reminds us, we can train ourselves to do that, too! Thanks, Joni!!

  2. A smile goes a long way. And if you know them, asking how they are doing and really listen.

  3. Your encouragement always makes me smile, my friend! I am so blessed that you are in my life!
