On May 25:
— 1961: President John F. Kennedy said he believed the nation should commit itself to land a man on the moon and bring him safely home. That became a reality in 1969, and the accomplishments in space since then have been amazing.
— 1977: George Lucas’ dream of Star Wars opened in theaters. The well-crafted characters, compelling story line and action, and never-before-seen special effects catapulted that galaxy into a world-wide phenomenon.
What If?
Every dream, large or small, begins as a “What if?” in someone’s imagination.
With persistence and hard work, sometimes the dream becomes a reality.
And sometimes not.
The Lessons of A Dream
Regardless of the outcome, dreams have taught me:
D – Diligence – To keep pursuing what is important to my spirit
R – Resilience – When life may not happen as expected
E – Endurance – In the face of hardship and disappointment
A – Acceptance – Of limitations and reality
M – Measurement – Of what really matters
Keep dreaming.
You may reach the moon or a galaxy far away someday. And even if you don’t, the lessons are priceless.

I love your acronym for DREAM. It helps put memorable actions to live out your dreams. I’ve learned to trust God with my dreams, after all, He gave them to me. And to never give up on them.
