Great Advice
Of all the advice I’ve received in my life, Saundra’s quote is one of the wisest. She spoke these words at a writers conference I attended, but it applies to every aspect in life.
There’s plenty of great advice in the world — from experts and caring friends and smart, sensible folks.
Plenty of advice. And it all may be applicable and helpful and sound.
But sometimes advice is so plentiful it becomes overwhelming.
And there’s even great advice about what to do when advice is overwhelming.
Best Advice
But if I take Saundra’s great advice and:
— Talk to God about the issue and my emotions about it.
— Ask God what I need to do.
— Wait until God gives clear guidance.
— Ask God for the courage to take that action.
Then I know I’m acting on the best advice for me to take at that moment.
