The Most Glorious

May 18th is National Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Day.

When we or others are in an accident or experiencing an emergency:

— The most glorious sound we hear is the person who answers the 911 call and says they will send help.

— The most glorious sight we see are the first responders and emergency medical personnel who have come to help.

— The most glorious breath we take is one of relief when responders assure us over and over.

— The most glorious touch we receive is when they hold our hand because we are afraid.

I want to thank all of the people who serve in any way to keep the services running to help us: Those who answer and route calls, people who respond to the emergencies, and everyone behind the scenes who supports them.

My prayers are with you as you deal with the stress, danger, and emotions of each situation. Also praying Godโ€™s protection, comfort, and peace envelop you every moment of every day. So thankful for you!
