My younger self was mouthy and opinionated. She had no problem expressing her opinion about anything or anyone. Even if she had no knowledge about the situation or person.
Sorry, that’s my older self’s opinion of my younger self. I’ll answer the question now – and keep it positive.
She would:
— Be grateful that I did what I had to do to become healthier in body, mind, and spirit.
— Be happy that I continue to write, sing, and play piano.
— Absolutely love the murder mystery I’m writing. (Of course, right? ha ha)

My younger self would tell my older self, “I am amazed that you haven’t given up. You have more strength than I thought you would have.”:)

My younger self drove everyone crazy by asking questions.
My math teacher said, “Never divide by zero. because the result will be infinity.” I asked, “Why will it be infinity?” In science class, if the teacher said something couldn’t happen, I asked, Why not?” I was – and still am – not hesitant to ask “why” in church.
All those questions and curiosity lead me to a career in science and engineering. As a discipleship teacher, I love to ask my class “why?”
And I still drive people crazy!
Isn’t it wonderful God made us who we are – and makes those qualities helpful to others? Some of my traits drove others crazy, too – but God can turn them all for good. 🙂 Thanks so much for sharing.
